We’ve heard good things about Clif Bar, and let us tell you, they’re all true! This brand is all about providing delicious, sustainably-sourced snacks that are perfect for on-the-go munching. And when we say “snacks,” we mean bars – specifically, energy bars made with organic ingredients.

One of the things we love most about Clif Bar is their commitment to using ingredients that are good for both people and the planet. Clif Bar was started by a guy named Gary Erickson in 1990, who was a long-distance cyclist and needed a nutritious energy bar for his ride. He started experimenting with ingredients in his mom’s kitchen and soon he came up with a recipe for an energy bar that was not only nutritious, but also delicious. And thus, the Clif Bar was born!

Their logo is a stylized depiction of Mount Tamalpais, located in Marin County, California, where Gary Erickson first got the idea for Clif Bar.
